Most API problems do not begin with bad technology. They begin with politeness.
A team wants to help everyone, so it exposes one large service interface. Sales can use it. Operations can use it. Mobile can use it. Finance can use it. Partners can use it. - read latency and cache hit ratios
- event publication lag and consumer lag
